Received one of these over a month ago. When it arrived I immediately applied the preloaded compound to the work knife. At first it seemed to me that the sling seemed too dry. It turned out that there was only a ton of the composition, which eventually penetrated the skin after several uses. Now the skin no longer feels dry. The leather appears to be of a higher quality than other very popular pre-tensioned slings available here at Revain and I can say without a doubt that Upon Leather stands behind their product. I will order again from Upon Leather when I need a new one. TLDR; This sling even keeps my steel M390 incredibly sharp without much effort, the quality of the leather is very good and there is no shortage of compound.
