You could throw it over the wall

Lately I feel like I'm spitting all the time. A few drops from my 7ft size, maybe it won't go through the wall. I haven't really tested this. I switched from a compression mic to this one and people in meetings immediately felt the difference. I use mine with TASCAM USB 1x2.
