Review on SanDisk 8GB Clip Jam MP3 Player (Orange) by Carlos Chan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for the gym but not without some features

I have had two of these units and both have served me well. I recently switched to my phone and bluetooth speaker. This way I can leave my phone in the middle of the gym and go anywhere without worrying about carrying that device or the cords. However, before the switch, I only used this MP3 player! I first started with the iPod nano, which has served me well. Luckily, I didn't feel like I missed out on the transition from Apple to SanDisk. The SanDisk MP3 player was a great choice for the average gym goer. It could be clipped to your pants with a handy belt clip, which was handy for keeping it out of your hands and out of the way. You would simply run your headphone cords through the front or back of your t-shirt. I've almost always preferred the back. The only problem with this is that sweat and wire stick out. You'll have to tug on the wire from time to time to get it in the best spot. The rest of the clip turned out to be good and fast. Depending on the headphones, the sound quality was average. Nothing special other than decent bass/treble. The user interface was good too. They had the usual standard features that you were fine with. Would I like a more intuitive user interface? Sure, but you also pay less compared to the competition. Transferring songs from my computer to SanDisk was a breeze compared to my iPod. Forget about getting Apple iTunes and dealing with it. You simply drag and drop your music onto SanDisk. Lasts 10 seconds! I like it! Stamina was pretty good. After heavy use, my play button became less sensitive to touch. After a while it seemed to me that I hadn't pressed the button. He would start, but there wasn't much emotion. The same thing happened with my volume button. It was at this point, a year and a half after ownership, that I contacted the company. With some information about my current MP3 player, they happily sent me a brand new one! So working with SanDisk was pleasant and easy. The change went well overall. No problem other than the fact that I dropped it in the toilet after a year of ownership. Well, after washing, the device became very demanding. Nothing was working right and I thought it was all over. Two days in a row I kept an MP3 in a bag of rice. After drying it worked again! The only issue I had was the volume button behaving strangely. It wasn't a big problem considering what happened. Having owned the clip mp3 player for three or four years I am satisfied with its use and value. The company was excellent, and the characteristics of the device were average or higher.
