Let me get right to it. The software for this thing really sucks. Before you think I'm just another complainer read my reviews, I've rarely been this negative. First (and this is my biggest complaint), you can't search by genre. The genre category does not appear in the menu at all. The menu options are Shuffle, Artists, Albums, Songs, and then Playlists (which is a joke, as explained below). I have had two of these units and both have served me well. I recently switched to my phone and bluetooth speaker. This way I can leave my phone in the middle of the gym and go anywhere without worrying about carrying that device or the cords. However, before the switch, I only used this MP3 player!
