Review on πŸ“€ Enhance Your DVD Blu-Ray Storage: Introducing the New 50 Pk Refill Sleeves in Black by Jay Aukuso

Revainrating 4 out of 5

High quality cases that won't make you bend the spines of the DVD case.

Very happy with these DVD cases! I recently picked up some stuff I had in store and was a bit surprised when I realized how many DVDs I have. I don't really have the space (or desire) to allocate a massive amount of shelf space to store my collection, so I went with the sleeve method that's so popular on DIY blogs these days. I grossly overestimated the amount I would need, so I'd recommend actually counting your DVDs before buying (oops!). My only complaint about the covers was that they were all difficult to open (almost 'sealed'). I solved this by using a butter knife (didn't need anything super sharp) and running the "blade" sideways down the top of the sleeve (hard to describe, but make a cross shape with the knife at the top and just run through it ). Doing this over and over for each sleeve was a HUGE headache, but it worked, so here it is. I chose these envelopes because I didn't want to fold the DVD case in half and it worked well. They're strong enough to hold discs and graphics well, and while they're awkward to open (for which I gave them one star), they're not bad overall. I could squeeze an entire black garbage bag full of drawers into a small sleeved bin.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Almost everything ok
