I really like this hand balm - a LOT. It's the perfect texture not hard but not liquidy either. It's more like a body butter and it does a wonderful job of hydrating my 63 year old skin. And though it's advertised as a "hand balm" it makes the skin on my face and neck feel very hydrated. The scent is just lovely - I knew it had a lot of shea butter in it because I could easily smell it's beautiful, natural scent. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because of one particular ingredient it contains - phenoxyethanol - not necessarily a safe ingredient. It's used as a preservative in a lot of cosmetics and skin creams. There's probably not enough to do any ha
