This is a really good point and shoot camera. It has an exceptionally sharp lens (Nikon quality is why you buy this camera). The buttons and settings are relatively easy to learn, although as with any digital camera, you'll need to read the manual and consult it from time to time to really get the hang of it. The 4x zoom is handy for general photography, but limited when you need to get closer to distant subjects. I haven't exercised, but the battery seems to have enough capacity for normal daily use. I don't like the fact that the only included charging method is via the 110v cable that plugs into the camera and I bought spare batteries and an external charger. However, I have never had to switch to a second battery. At least the special batteries are relatively cheap. However, I only bought this camera for digiscoping (taking pictures through a spotting scope). For this purpose, this is the best camera I've had and the first I'm really happy with. You will probably need a Nikon UR-E21 adapter ring for this. If this camera meets your needs, it is definitely worth its relatively high price.
