We usually buy Schmidt's deodorant but wanted to try it for our teenager. This is a light deodorant but I think it will work for adults on light days too. Schmidts last longer but are also thicker and more waxy. This is also a wax base, but it's thinner. The best method of application is to apply it to the skin for a moment and let it soak (unlike traditional deodorant, which you wipe off and let go). The scent is subtle and will not conflict with your other products. It has light hints of citrus, herbs and flowers (rosemary, parsley, rosehip, essential oils, coconut oil, etc.). What I like the most are the natural ingredients. Conventional deodorant contains so many toxic ingredients. I also adjust my expectations of natural products a bit – on bad days I might have to apply twice and that's normal, I carry a second stick in my bag or in my desk drawer. The cost of this product is slightly higher than Schmidt's, but this is quite consistent with a natural product. One stick lasts for a very long time, for several months.
