Among the many alternatives, I bought this AC adapter charger because it had the port configuration I wanted and because I'm VERY SATISFIED with my other purchase of Anker branded products. These include Anker battery-powered chargers, which I covered hundreds of miles on a camping trip. I had this adapter not long ago and haven't really done a comparison test of device charging times, but it seems to be faster. Bottom line, this device does exactly what it is intended to do and once again I am happy with my Anker product purchase.
