Review on Wacom DTK1660K0A Cintiq 16 Drawing Tablet: A Powerful Screen-based Sketching Tool by Adam Szczelewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I've spent the better part of a month trying to decide on a tablet for 3D modeling and drawing. The Wacom Cintiq 16 won me over after reading numerous reviews. This is the tool to use if you require something of professional quality. Yes! There are tablets with larger diagonals and more features, but the quality of the screen's responsiveness to the pen, and not the stand or glove, should be your top priority when making a purchase. I agree with everything said in the YouTube video "HONEST review of Wacom CINTIQ 16 for a YEAR of use" after you make the purchase.

Pros
  • When using the tablet, you realize that the $50,000 was well spent. The screen's sensitivity to the pen's touch is consistent over its whole surface, there is no backlash, and all of the materials used are of the highest quality. Easy setup, precise instrumentation, and reliable connectivity. The main thing, I guess. You may draw on it just like you would on paper; there's no learning curve.
Cons
  • The HDMI-to-DP adaptor supply was depleted. If you own a 1070Ti, you need this adaptor to use your tablet as a second monitor.
