Review on 55-Inch Go Pet Club Cat Tree: Optimize your Aesthetically Pleasing Feline Furniture! by Kara Love

Update: not holding up well. Scratching posts not for scratching, wobbly bars, bottom rope and carpet on bars

Update 6 months later: The other night I heard a loud crack and the next day the bottom bar broke off and turned over. Luckily my cats are fine. The heaviest cat weighs less than 11 pounds and they don't sleep together on the same perch, they're still learning to get along. , and a nail protrudes into the hollow. The plastic end is simply nailed to the cardboard stand. It's really poor quality, only lasting 6 months and crashing. I would not recommend this brand or model. Update on the original review: I gave this 5 stars when I first assembled it. Within 2 days my cat tore the fluffy parts of the top 2 scratching posts and then stopped using them. A month later, both top posts are very shaky. Yes, I carefully tightened everything with the tools and force provided. But this item doesn't build as well as a previously purchased condo with cats. I don't think it would last the summer and wasn't worth the cost. I would recommend trying something from Armarkat rather than Go Pet Club as they seem to be more reliable for long term use in my (somewhat limited) experience. . Beware of the bad reviews as they are non-returnable, I didn't keep the original packaging and the return postage will likely cost more than it originally cost. The first review was enthusiastic, but it was more of a first impression: so cool! My cat couldn't wait for me to finish assembling, he checked everything. He weighs about 15 pounds and climbs in and out of the closet or uses the perches with no problem. This model is stronger than the smaller model I have, has a wider base and doesn't tip over. I expect this model to justify its money. When the sisal starts to fall apart I'll take a glue gun and fix it or even buy a sisal roll and replace it. I hope the kitten will start using the clawing "wave" instead of my rug. (You can get a cat to a scratching post, but you cannot force them to use it.) If there are any design flaws I will update my review. But so far it seems to be a good solid model at a great price. The crate weighs about 40 pounds and is bulky, so I asked someone to put it near where I built it. But it wasn't difficult for me to assemble it by myself.
