An easy way to change the angle of any TRRS socket. In my case, I got them to point the Dayton's metering mic in a different direction than straight out of the bottom of my phone. I bought a pair for the price (and thought it would be good to have a backup) BUT after getting them I had an epiphany that I could switch the mic in literally any direction between using one and pairing the pair can judge! I hope to add some photos of it soon. Ignore the negative reviews from idiots who didn't read the description and hoped something was wrong; as a TRS to TRRS converter. That's when the phrase "that's it" comes to mind. Note that considerable force may be required to fully engage all "4 poles". At first I thought it would be a problem, but in fact I was being too gentle. They just arrived so can't speak for "long term quality" but so far so good. I don't plan on using them on a daily basis or anything, but if I run into any problems in the future I'll try to remember to post an update.
