. I have no idea what the previous reviewer is talking about when he says these are two layers of fabric with no batting between them. Maybe they got a defective product? However, it is hard to imagine a worker sewing an entire quilt together and not noticing the missing batting. The difference at the packing station would also be very noticeable. Ours was packed very tightly in a plastic bag on arrival. If it weren't for 50% or more of the mass, I think it would be pretty blatant. The one we definitely got definitely has 100% in it. This is NOT a thick winter quilt and the fabric isn't the best quality I've seen, but there is wadding on the inside. If you look at the marketing photos, you can see a slight swell anywhere between the stitch lines. I would say these photos are more or less accurate. Maybe a little over the top, but something without a percussion would look very different. My wife and I love the design or look of it. Areas with double borders look particularly good to me. The haircut looks ok. We currently have thick duvets on the beds but this would be a great duvet for the summer months. The only downside to this thing is that the fabric looks a little cheap, almost like a web in its thin, coarse weave.
