The stove in my daughter's college apartment was in an unusual place, right in the middle of the wall. Since this is a very small kitchen with little storage or personal space, we decided to improvise and create a storage space. This baker's stand fits perfectly next to the stove and will hold the cutting board, spices, oils and some of your cooking essentials. We don't usually like DIY furniture, but this was an easy install. All the advice I could give to those buying furniture online is to take lots of measurements, measure the space you want to fill and find something with very similar dimensions. I was looking for something that would definitely fit in this small space and I couldn't be happier with it! She can put a cutting board on it and it will be just inches below her usual cutting and cooking height, but it will still be secure and most importantly, bring some much-needed organization.
