I bought this vest after looking around for a while and making sure it was the right size and worked exactly as it should , as I hoped it should. The back is soft and very hard. The adjustment on the shoulders is very solid and the Velcro and name panels come in handy for customization. After a while, as you play with the adjustments, you'll be able to get a snug fit that allows you to run and move without the vest slipping. Lightweight mesh on the front keeps you cool as you run on hot summer days. Something you don't get from other vests. Finally, the included strap is very handy with all the attachment points to attach ammo, water and other items without having to buy additional gear. My only complaint is that the clamps in the front aren't all equally spaced, meaning there's no way to get a proper tummy fit. Adjustments to the sides can compensate a bit, but I'll probably sew on the center clip in a better position. I definitely recommend this vest for the price and style.
