They turned out to be great Christmas decorations for my 1.5 year old! I rolled out the "dough" with a regular rolling pin (not included), cut it out, stuck it in by hand and let it dry! Light! I really wanted to write on clay but couldn't find anything that didn't look awful so I used the straw they provided to make 18 (for 2018) which came out pretty nice and I decided to use the Write names, age and date on the back of the pen. As a result I got three decorations, two as thick as the one shown and one thinner. I've let them dry between sheets of wax paper and haven't had any problems with tearing, although they took longer to dry than stated on the packaging. written on the back with a ballpoint pen and then glazed. I was afraid that the ink might run off the icing, but that didn't happen. I really think the icing on the cake gives it that extra something that makes it look like a really good end product. My baby's hand will probably be too big next year but I will definitely come back to look for another set when we have more children.
