Review on SanDisk Cruzer Blade 8GB USB πŸ’Ύ Flash Drive (SDCZ50-008G-B35) - High-Speed Data Transfer by Chiyo Ogawa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

HOWEVER - it changes without incident while under warranty. The procedure cost 120 and took three weeks (for shipping). I didn't respond right away or send it straight away because I wasn't in a rush. That would also be quicker. 1. Describe the issue in a letter to the technical support team. 2. You get a letter requesting information about your flash drive (number, etc. - everything is right on it) 3. A confirmation letter with permission to exchange under warranty and instructions on how to send it is sent after the flash drive is authenticated. 4. Mail the USB flash drive. 5. They will let you know when it arrives and that a replacement has been sent to you. a tracking number will be sent. 6. You are informed that you must complete a customs declaration when your flash drive arrives at customs. in the area. Everything is easy to understand (in 2022). Just the requirement to include a snapshot of the company's letter in which you are informed that a fresh flash drive has been sent to you in the order confirmation letter raised any red flags for me. Nothing more is due from you. 7. The flash drive was delivered to my home in St. Petersburg the following morning after customs clearance via the Internet at the Hong Kong customs. She left the Czech Republic and traveled through Austria and Germany. 8. You receive support from the same employee throughout the exchange process; all communications are handled by this individual, and questions are promptly addressed. I have two of them; the first has operated without issue for six months, but with the second, something like this happened. The review is being updated, and I'm raising the score from 4 to 5. Both flash drives are still functional for me after more than five years have passed. I must admit that I'm astonished.

Pros
  • Cheap, handy volume (I use it to write series for my mother), cute appearance, and fairly quick
Cons
  • The plastic plug appears to be unreliable, there is no cover, and if you carry it in your pocket, garbage can fill up. It blocked itself after the second use, there is NO program for self-unlocking - do not even try, it is not killed by anything, even low-level formatting, and I tried everything before learning that they are unkillable in this sense.
