Review on Immerse Yourself: Aiwa Arc-1 ANC - Premium Over Ear Bluetooth Active Noise Cancelling Headphones with 40-Hour Playtime & Audiophile Sound Quality by Mike Barnes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good noise canceling headphones for everyday use.

I have purchased many products from "New Quince" and I have to say that most of the products have impressed me. I have the original Aiwa Arc 1 headphones (no noise canceling) and I really like them. They sound amazing, are durable and last almost forever without recharging. I used them in the lab and decided to buy another Zoom meeting kit for my office. Well they are being discontinued and replaced by the Aiwa Arc 1 ANC version for review here. I like her very much and can gladly recommend her. with catch. Good: ANC works very well. I have my original Arcs for office use e.g. B. Zoom meetings, replace and use the new ANCs in the lab as they are quite noisy. The noise cancellation works too, maybe better than anything I've used in the past. They even work independently of the headphone function to use them without music just to block out background noise in a situation like mine. Bonus! The sound is pretty good too. I wouldn't put them in the same category as the original Arc I, but noise-cancelling headphones never compare to well-made music headphones in my opinion. The frequency range where noise cancellation is effective colors the music, but to a lesser extent in the best headphones. I find ANC Arc 1 quite acceptable in this area. The volume range isn't as loud as some might like. I don't usually listen out loud with headphones, and using it with my phone or computer is definitely loud enough even if you want to turn it up louder. The original Arc 1s sounded slightly louder than their replacements. But ANC is more than enough for every occasion I've used it for. In general I am satisfied with them. are they perfect . Nothing. A few cons: These headphones are made of plastic. They tend to creak when you bend them or when you tighten them. They are very light. This can be interpreted as good or bad depending on you. It doesn't seem to affect their use in any way, and they're silent when you turn them on. They REALLY creak when you adjust the volume in your headphones or when you press pause or play. The ear pads can be easily replaced if necessary. The pads just pop out, maybe with a bit of effort, exposing the standard (Mylar I think) speakers and mic. Pretty standard stuff. So let's summarize. The Arc 1 ANC headphones are pretty decent sounding noise canceling headphones. The sound quality isn't as good as their predecessors, but to be honest they are two different beasts with the same name. I know it's confusing. They last forever on a single charge, I use them daily and am very happy with their performance as a daily driver. I often leave them on when I'm away for the weekend, pick them up and use them on Mondays without wasting a second. Can I call it "audiophile quality"? . no Is $179 too high a price? . Yes! If you can put them up for sale, and sales tend to happen fairly often, that's a good deal. You have a great guarantee and you are buying from a very reliable company.
