Review on ☕️ OXO Brew Pour-Over Coffee Maker: Easy Brewing with Integrated Water Tank by Samantha Stevens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Attractive, durable and works as described.

The Oxo Pourer looks and feels very nice. The handle lies comfortably in the hand. I think the gray funnel lining is there to hide the coffee stains that are almost inevitable on a white surface. There is enough water in the tank for my travel mug if I brew coffee and then add the remaining water. The small holes at the bottom of the tank seem to work very well. I've been a coffee drinker for about 65 years 😳, but I've only recently started thinking about increasing my caffeine dose. I use a French press, which makes good coffee, but it's a bit of a pain to do first thing in the morning. When I first used Oxo I thought the coffee tasted bad, but maybe it just tastes different. Now that I've used and washed it several times, the coffee tastes good. There seem to be many variables involved in making good coffee. I'm certainly no expert, but if you have one of these, use it a few times before making your final decision. Experiment with the water temperature, amount, roast, and type of coffee you use. Overall I am very happy with my Oxo. The coffee is good and I don't have to worry about it exploding all over the kitchen, shorting out the wiring in the house, or losing small parts. November 15, 2018 six months. It's still nice, white and new. The gray color inside is not colored. The lid/stand is very convenient to install the device after brewing. I haven't been a true coffee snob yet, but I can say with confidence that the balance of coffee quality and time invested in the project makes Oxo a very profitable purchase. Sincerely, a coffee lover, maybe a little lower than a coffee snob. You can always try.

Pros
  • Makes smooth, great-tasting portioned cups with minimal effort
Cons
  • I really don't like anything, everything's fine
