Review on πŸ‘– MAXLER JEAN Biker Jeans for Men - Slim Straight Fit Motorcycle Riding Pants, 002 Blue (Size 38) - Enhanced SEO by John Bailey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great jeans if you are skinny and tall.

The style of these pants reminds me of the Featherbed-K jeans you can find at Uglybros USA, but the Maxlers are half the price at $178 MSRP. In fact, both brands are made in South Korea and you can find similar styles by browsing their websites. I wanted to share that I'm 5ft 7in, about 140lbs and usually prefer Levi's or Hollister 30x30 men's skinny jeans. I find that most motorcycle jeans are either too baggy or too long or both. CE 1621-1:2012 rated - Good amount of Kevlar lining sewn on the back of the pants - The denim is thick but still has good stretch. I still had room in my thighs and calves - Cheaper than brands like Uglybros, Dainese, Rev'It or Saint.cc - Style screams "moto jeans". Disadvantages: - Too long, length or inseam cannot be selected. Men's size 28 fits me like 30" x 36" - Kevlar is not sewn on the front of the pants. It's only on the knee pads, so without armor there's no protection in that area. - There is an unpleasant smell of chemicals when unpacked, I do not recommend wearing without a prewash. The style screams "moto jean" for those who don't want to look for more traditional jeans. There are a few comparison shots in my photos with a pair of Rev'It jeans (MSRP $229). Turned inside out I didn't notice any loose stitching or fraying, but I still find the Rev'It a little better in detail and overall quality. The hem of the Rev'It is double stitched and has a reflective stripe that becomes visible when you roll it up, unlike the Maxler. The front of the Rev'It also has protective material sewn up to the knees, giving you some protection even without armor. In my opinion, the overall quality and reputation of the Rev'It justifies the price difference. As for the Maxlers, I love them and recommend them as they offer better protection than just riding a pair of Levi's. But unless you're skinny and tall, you'll have to pay for some changes.
