Review on Spitfire Bighead Skateboard Wheels: Size Options from 48mm to 63mm by Shawn Pollock

GREAT wheels! I bought these to replace the cheap (and now worn out) OJ wheels that came with my Santa Cruz board. These are 53mm, just like the original wheels, and they're also a bit stiffer than the original wheels. Hardness isn't an issue though and they work great. In fact, I would even go so far as to say that they are a bit smoother than the originals. The profile is perfect and the wheels have excellent grip on smooth concrete, especially when rolling on walls and sides. I have never used these wheels for road travel but I think they could potentially be suitable for such use. Even though my skateboard is black (and originally had black wheels), the green and white combo actually looks pretty cool. I was skeptical at first about the combination of these two things, but I'm very happy with the end result. Finally, I love that not only are these wheels made in the USA and therefore great quality, they also come with a Spitfire decal (red) which looks cool on the underside of my board too.
