I love the zoom on this lens. This is unrealistic, especially for animal photography. The only thing I didn't like was that it was very difficult to record videos with zoom and to stabilize the camera. I was trying to film one of my Bluebird babies flying over the nest and had a hell of a time to steady my hand to avoid video shake. The slightest movement will exaggerate itself and it will be difficult to focus the lens on a subject you are filming. Otherwise flawless zoomed pictures. The video needs help.
