I had a monitor that was about to die a miserable death so I really couldn't wait that long. After shopping I thought it was a decent price for the size and settled on the 27 inch model. Most other brands in this size are about $30 more. & DisplayPort connectors. So everyone should be able to use this monitor. The only thing missing was DVI, but I don't use it often. Other similar monitors didn't have all three options. It arrived quickly and I plugged it in. Very light and bright! In fact, I had to turn down the brightness. And it's a great size for home office work. I'm not a gamer so I can't comment on what the games are like. Discrepancy between the answers people give. I have speakers but apparently some don't. Or maybe people don't realize they have speakers because they're hidden at the bottom of the frame. They don't sound good, but they're better than nothing. I also came with an HDMI cable and only a VGA cable. I really needed a splayPort Di cable, but unfortunately it wasn't included. So I'll take care of the HDMI connection first. There's an audio jack on the back labeled 'Audio In' but I'm guessing it's an audio out so you can connect external speakers (only works if you use the HDMI option). But maybe it's valid for audio input if you don't use HDMI. Although I prefer to connect the speakers to the computer. Overall they are great for general use. I give it 5 stars because of the price and the picture quality.
