If your aquarium is on the limit, go one size up. I have a 24" tank, 20 gallon, stock rim and ordered one for 18-24" instead of 24-36". I was just concerned that my arms would be so outstretched that I wouldn't be able to be as stable. And that's exactly what I got, it's just too stretchy for my tank and sags or bends in the middle. It's not a problem as it's secure and still doesn't touch my lid. It's in the video. But great light. ALSO when you first convert your light to LED, start each new light with fewer hours per day and work your way up to a standard day of light or you will definitely get algae blooms; this works with every brand.
