Excellent product. We have a boykin spaniel. He never stopped managing his property (5 acres) but started "driving” cars on a dirt road in our area. I don't chase them furiously, just chase them for 100 yards, but it's annoying and I wanted it to stop. The dog is absolutely stubborn. An excellent duck hunter, but a lousy farm dog. So I ordered this SportDog SD-350 trainer and found that there really is hope for the dog. Today I put a collar on him and let him go when people come home. Then I sat down and waited. His favorite race truck was out and he was out for his race. I called his name and said "No" but he kept walking towards the street. I pressed the sound button on the remote, which got the dog's attention but didn't slow him a step. So I pressed the Zap button (set to 3). The dog flew straight into the air, did a somersault, stopped dead in his tracks, looked at me, and jumped right to my feet when I called him. It was 3 hours ago. Several of his other favorite racing vehicles drove by and the dog didn't move from the spot onto the road. The dog is smart and I'm sure he got the message. Tomorrow I will check the situation again and repeat if necessary. I hope that this collar is really waterproof. Boykin is a water dog and we live on a lake and he has a pool so in hot South Carolina weather he's wet most of the time.
