I was able to use many of my existing skillset that had been sitting idle because we were selling via WooCommerce instead (which is not as powerful).

Creating custom fields for shipping options in conjunction with our fulfillment partner who ships packages from Canada allowed us to get things rolling much faster than if it would have just taken time figuring out how everything worked together ourselves. It took me longer getting started using this platform since most people aren't familiar w/ e-commerce at all but once set up there are very few issues or hiccups after setup & initial learning curve goes away quickly enough where help becomes necessary again :) We shipped orders as fast + cheaper due mostly being outside major US cities so having an API connection between order entry point / drop shipper helped make sense when trying new product vs. sending through Amazon FBA which can be slow depending upon what city they're located within if their warehouse isn.
