Review on Sony Digital SteadyShot Stabilization 18 70Mm by Tammy Marie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rest in peace Mina. for digital cameras

My very first large 35mm SLR camera was the Minolta SRT 101. I've taken some great photos with this camera but was not impressed with the quality of construction and the quality of the shots that were taken were taken under fluorescent lighting. . Otherwise, I managed to take great pictures indoors and outdoors. Switched to Canon. Impressive lecture. You won't find a better meter and lens combination anywhere in 35mm photography! Use sharp lenses that produce VERY detailed greens, true-to-life color reproduction and build quality that rivals Hasselblad! Something happened to BOTH guns I had! They were like damn so my next purchase was the Nikon FM. So let's quickly jump to 1985 and back to Minolta. The Maxxum 7000 is out and I can't resist this camera that does everything but walk up to a subject and say "Cheese!" Autofocus, Motorized, Auto-Rewind, Preferred Aperture, Preferred Shutter Speed, Matching Needle Modes AND Program Modes! Interchangeable Fresnel screens, upgradeable power supply, all for about $300! I had a Nikon FTN with all the fixes for about a third of the price! Worked great for me until after 20+ years it started to show wear and tear. So I searched the internet for deals and saw the Maxxum 50 for an amazing price of $164 INCLUDED the lens! It's clear. A definite improvement over my old half price 7000! Then disaster! After the merger with Konica.Minolta, the camera business goes out! However, they sold pretty much all their rights to Sony and Sony continues to make a range of excellent SLR cameras that use the Minolta AF lens mount. Wanting to go beyond standard aiming and shoot through the viewfinder, I bought a Sony a200K and couldn't be happier! The shots I've taken so far look like something from a 4X5 medium format or "perfect format" camera. Very sharp! The feature that really intrigued me is how the LCD menu adapts to the way you hold the camera, from vertical to 90 degrees off-axis. VERY well thought out feature! The charging capacity of the battery is also good, even if it is not completely discharged! Anti-shake, built-in anti-dust, 10.2 megapixels. Shutter and aperture priorities, matching needle and program. I AM IN HEAD PARADISE! It's a studio in a cell! Add to this the amazing price I paid for mine and the incredibly fast shipping I received from my supplier and I'm sure I'll be a Sony DSLR fan for a long time to come. !Recommended and a half!
