Good camera suitable for digital cameras

We bought this camera to photograph construction sites for our marketing media, it was great and then got stolen. I recommend Sony cameras because of the image stabilization built into the camera. Most brands don't include this as the lenses have image stabilization, but these lenses cost more than double the price of standard lenses. Buy one of these Sony Alphas to save money, get last year's model or an older one, it's still an amazing camera, then just buy a good Tamron lens and enjoy.

Great camera! Great package! Very important!

This is a really great camera for anyone who wants to delve into the world of digital SLR cameras. The photos are excellent, the level of detail in the photos is amazing and it is very easy to use. All of its features are gradually being used more and more, but right out of the box, after charging the batteries, it's just a tip, with all the professional looks. If it's worth mentioning, the only thing I don't understand why this model doesn't support it is "live view". But if you're shooting…

Excellent DSLR, the best of DSLRs

This is a great DSLR at an amazing price. This is a very sophisticated camera, but easy to use. The functions you need to change most often are easily accessible and not hidden in the menu. While this is considered an entry-level DSLR, it's a lot more advanced than the description suggests. You have full creative control over the image as well as body stabilization. I would give this camera 5 stars if it wasn't for the lens included in this kit. An old Minolta design lens that probably worked…

Pros
  • Expensive but valuable
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Sony Alpha camera is the best of digital cameras

Great camera. Why spend more money on other brands when this one offers all the features of more expensive cameras. I love this camera, it takes great photos and has so many creative aspects to photography. You can switch lenses for other types of photography; Macro etc but the lens that comes with this camera does it all. You can zoom in if needed. There is a pop-up flash that reacts to low light. You can set everything to automatic; Focusing, metering or you can get creative and make your own

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Christmas 4 myself - camera & photo

was able to purchase this item with accessories before the holidays and had to pay for it a YEAR after applying for an amazon.com deferred finance loyalty card. $50 a month and now it's all mine. LOVE it for ALL aspects of the sport (golf water skiing) / sunrise sunset / fall foliage here on BT. I've been an avid 35mm user (purely amateur) for over 20 years, but I have postcard quality photos. I checked out @nikon but couldn't justify spending THOSE dollars on a body and lens, I know I've only…

Great camera; SUPER customer service from Sony!

I bought this camera from Revain a month ago and am very happy with it (and of course with the excellent service from Revain). I won't repeat the many benefits mentioned in other Revain reviews, but I was blown away by Sony's online customer support. For many years, the strategy of most CS companies was to promise more and deliver less. So I was completely unprepared for my excellent experience. I couldn't find a specific "how to" answer in the camera manual, so I went to the Sony website…

Incredibly capable - and such!

I used to use a lot of SLRs and compact digital cameras. The Sony A-200K is by far the best I've ever used. I just haven't found anything this camera can't do, which is amazing considering the tiny flash. Whether indoors or outdoors, images are consistently sharp and well-lit. (Letting the camera make the decisions has worked well so far; I haven't had to do any manual adjustments.) The 18-70mm lens is light, amazingly sharp and at 100mm almost perfect for commuting and city travel. The…

Great Camera: DSLR Cameras

This is a really great camera. I definitely don't consider myself an expert on DSLRs (I've only shot with the Nikon D200, D70 and Canon Rebel XTi), but so far I'm very happy with this camera. Image quality is very comparable to the Rebel XTi, except on the greens where it appears to be better. Sony falls short on noise reduction - low ISO noise is very acceptable and definitely on par with Canon, maybe even better depending on the image. Once you hit ISO 1600 the Canon seems better and the Sony

Pros

Rest in peace Mina. for digital cameras

My very first large 35mm SLR camera was the Minolta SRT 101. I've taken some great photos with this camera but was not impressed with the quality of construction and the quality of the shots that were taken were taken under fluorescent lighting. . Otherwise, I managed to take great pictures indoors and outdoors. Switched to Canon. Impressive lecture. You won't find a better meter and lens combination anywhere in 35mm photography! Use sharp lenses that produce VERY detailed greens, true-to-life…
