was able to purchase this item with accessories before the holidays and had to pay for it a YEAR after applying for an amazon.com deferred finance loyalty card. $50 a month and now it's all mine. LOVE it for ALL aspects of the sport (golf water skiing) / sunrise sunset / fall foliage here on BT. I've been an avid 35mm user (purely amateur) for over 20 years, but I have postcard quality photos. I checked out @nikon but couldn't justify spending THOSE dollars on a body and lens, I know I've only just started using this one camera to the fullest. With the included 8GB card I took an extra 500 shots with memory to save money. The battery life is OUTSTANDING in my opinion. I think a higher tier card would increase my speed on golf shots as I only get 3-4 frames of a golf shot on a sports car. 4.9/5 in my book. I would highly recommend this to anyone making the 'leap' into high end digital photography. Honestly JAY CAMERON
