LOVE this headset! Can't comment on how they perform in gaming as I bought them for work. Some of the reviews made me a little nervous so I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. It turned out perfect! NOISE CANCELING - Pretty decent, at least when something is playing or someone is talking. But if you just put them on with no sound, it's unlikely anything will work. I know because I tried. MICROPHONE - I teach and had to purchase these for virtual teaching purposes. According to the children, they can hear me perfectly. The mic stays out of the way when the arm is down, but be careful - once you put it in the closed position, they won't hear you! Or at least it sounds like a muffled mess. VOLUME. I might just be sensitive, but for me the headphone portion gets really loud for anything but voice chat. When I'm playing videos for background noise to block out my co-workers' noises, I usually turn the volume up to around 4 (with the little volume knob attached). The AUDIO BUTTON is one of the few things that can get in the way. . I found that the little sound buttons are SUPER sensitive and when they touch your hand they can adjust the volume or mute the mic almost by themselves. There's a small glowing light that turns on when you're muted BUT you have to be careful to view it in a lighted room. COMFORT - The Spirit Wolf is very comfortable for me. I had to wear them for hours at work and unlike previous experiences with headphones and headsets, I had NO headaches or earaches. Feels surprisingly light considering the size. LOOK. Obviously I don't need a headset with a glaring deflection light, so the glowing wolf made me hesitate a bit. Really no need to worry! Glowing wolves are subtle and barely noticeable unless you're sitting in the dark. I also found them very cute, they all glow. DURABILITY - I've had them for a few months now and they've survived many trips crammed into a laptop bag. Although they don't fold for storage, I haven't had any issues carrying them so far. OVERALL - GREAT price, perfect if you are on a budget! Seems solid and built to last. The sound is good, sometimes loud. The microphone works great. Aesthetically, it looks pretty cool, especially if you like wolves (partly because of the name and logo, I decided to give Spirit Wolf a try). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
