Review on Optimized Playtex Diaper Genie Expressions Customizable Diaper Pail with Starter Refill by Andrea Smith

Got a traditional diaper genie gift for my baby shower. My husband and I were never impressed by this - it did a good job of hiding the nappy smell when it was on, but as soon as you opened the lid to put the nappy on the smell was SO bad. There weren't many diapers, they seemed VERY cheap to put together and broke a few times. My husband tried to fix it every time but it just ended up falling apart. We decided to purchase Diaper Genie Expressions when we needed replacements and we are happy with it. While I wasn't sure I'd like the lack of a pedal to open the lid, it looks like a button will do the trick. I remember to tie my diapers in a tight little knot when I'm done as you need to make sure they fit the opening, which doesn't seem to be a problem for me. It REALLY has more diapers (compared to others). It's shorter, which doesn't bother me. We didn't get any external designs because I didn't really care, so I can't comment on how well they work/look.
