I recently moved to Missouri from Georgia and was finally able to get my Panasonic Viera TV out of its box after almost 4 years of storage. After connecting the set, I found that I was missing the remote control. And because I added the cable, I encountered the problem that the cable would not sync with the TV, making it impossible for me to turn off both the cable and the TV at the same time. Knowing my TV wasn't the latest model - it had been in the box for more than 4 years - I was skeptical about the universal remote. For $13, this remote seemed too good to be true. And we all know how this cliché ends. But when I received this remote control and put in the necessary two AAA batteries, the remote control worked on the first test. And by entering the cable code into the cable remote, the TV syncs instantly. During this process I accidentally changed the aspect ratio of the TV picture, but again, my new universal remote quickly fixed the problem. The remote control comes with a two-page guide on how to use the different buttons. But I'm happy to report that the remote itself is fairly intuitive, with clear labeling for every key button.
