These are no ordinary plastic organisers. They look like someone put a layer of felt on top of the plastic - they don't scratch, are fairly sturdy, and can take a surprising amount of abuse. I partially flattened one in my hand and it popped out again. Tried to split and break one - no. I thought it would definitely break. They're not as stiff as the plastic ones, so if you fill them up with heavier stuff like sorting batteries, they'll bulge a bit. They are also porous. Liquids pass directly through them. Depending on what you use them for, this can either be a plus or a minus. The downside is the cost. You get 7 organizers, so you pay more to use recycled materials.
