Super soft and plush.
KiKi is happy, and so am I. I like the high backrest because I can position it so the dog doesn't sniff it while sleeping. That way, Kiki doesn't have to hide in a corner to avoid her. They're best friends, it's no malice, just Lucy the dog wants to play more than KiKi. Everything is fine - happy with the purchase. (I had to give it a low rating because it's easy to clean, white, and thick. Not sure if it's washable.)
