My son LOVES them and they are fairly waterproof in snow/wet conditions. although he jumped in puddles and of course got them wet (those aren't rubber boots, as you know). I live in New York and they lasted all winter, his feet never got cold, they had no cracks or holes, and he probably wore them every day for at least 6 months. he always wants to wear his boots! He will probably wear them for another 6 years / as long as they fit and I am sure I can resell them as they are still in great condition. Excellent purchase!
