Review on Zinus Easy Pet Stairs: X-Large Grey Pet Ramp or Ladder for Easy Access by Jacki Reichmann

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfect for our Chivini

Our 8 year old Chivini can use our bedroom when we are not home and loves to throw his toys and balls out of bed and jump around to get them and do it all over again. We have a bench at the foot of the bed, but for him it just takes the fun out of her to use it. Three weeks ago he started crying and wailing out of nowhere with no visible injury. After a $500 vet visit we were told he had to use ladders and ramps or we would soon be back with the same or worse. don't slide them down. Our dog is only 16 pounds so the stairs don't squeeze when he comes down, but I imagine a much larger dog could do that. Our dog uses the stairs most of the time, but he still needs to be reminded to "use the stairs!" Using foods to encourage stair use also helps. EDIT: June 26, 2018 I'm very glad the lid has a plastic backing because today my dog decided to urinate on the stairs. Some urine still seeped into the bottom tier foam but I blotted it with a damp soapy cloth and let it dry outside and it smells better now.

Pros
  • Perfect for larger pets
Cons
  • Mostly good but...
