After a long search I decided on this bed but in the end I had to return it. Despite the fact that it looks very nice, a toxic chemical odor overwhelmed my small apartment. Since I couldn't vent the gas outside, I installed it in my guest room with the window open and the fan on, but after three days the smell hadn't gone at all. It took a few more days for the smell to leave the empty room after I sent it back! The second issue is the design, where the plug and controls are at the head of the bed, meaning the bed cannot be pushed against the wall. I think the controls are best positioned at the foot of the bed. Third, the raised pillow area was a bit higher than I expected, I don't think I would have liked that either. Shame about this bed - maybe it's good for some people but not for me.
