Helps add a cellular signal to another part of your home where there wasn't one.
I connect this splitter to my main cellular signal repeater. I live in a mobile home with all metal paneling and a new metal roof. The mobile phone booster worked great in my mobile home. But I had an annex on my RV that barely picked up a signal due to the metal foil insulation and metal roof. With this splitter connected I still have good cell phone signal in my primary RV and after running the split side cable and installing a new antenna in my add on they both now have excellent cell phone signal.
