Review on ADOVEL Substances Showerhead Replaceable Cartridge by Troy Houston

The water quality in my area is terrible. My hard water rating is off the charts. A whole house water softener is currently out of our budget so I decided to find some relief by buying one of these (I had brittle hair and dry skin). After the first application, I immediately noticed changes in my hair and skin. It's been a few weeks and I've also noticed that the shower head hasn't accumulated hard water like my old one did and there are no more hard water stains in my shower. I haven't triple checked it with a test strip, but from what I've seen and experienced, this filter really does the job. Update 4/20/20: After 3 months of use, the shower head gives off less water, which means a filter. gets clogged. It was advertised as a 6 month filter but it only lasted 3 months for me. A downside I've encountered. Another update: I opened the shower head and found that the curved washer (black rubber circle) was blocking the water. I removed it and everything is fine again. Still going strong with the first filter
