As you can see, I have a beach boat that is taking up too much space in my apartment. So when I was looking for a solution to increase floor space, I came across this design that really caught my eye. I liked that the hooks are lower to match the tire diameter and that the mounting bracket didn't require much height to fit in my limited space. From the bottom of the mount to the top of my tire it only took me 7 inches of headroom to get it working and as you can see I have more than enough headroom. In the second picture I added three more holes. at the top and one at the bottom (sink it in) to add more stability as my bike is heavier than most. I bought 2-4 packs of #10 x 2 zinc screws for this job.
