Review on Beosound Stage Wireless Multiroom Soundbar by Bang & Olufsen by Dana Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Powerful soundbar, strong bass

I've always been a big fan of Bang and Olufsen and I also have some of the brand's speakers, so I just adjust them according to different aspects: Sound field: A9 4th gen > Beosound Balance > A9 MKI > Beosound Stage > HomePod = A6Bass: Beosound Stage > A9 4th Gen > A9 MKI > Beosound Balance > A6 = HomePod Mid-high range (piano, vocals, etc.) A9 4th Gen > Beosound Balance > A9 MKI > A6 > HomePod > Beosound stage This is definitely an amazing speaker, you get B&O's best design, impeccable build quality and as Bo claims you don't really need an extra subwoofer to boost the bass. But there are a few things to consider before you buy: 1. The sound isn't room-filling. Of course, turning up the volume on this soundbar means you can hear it from anywhere in the room, but if you've tried HomePod or A9 before then this might disappoint. I tried standing directly in front of the speaker and the boy, which was powerful, but every time I moved further away from the speaker, I clearly felt the power weaken a little, even with that speaker on the wall hung or facing the ceiling. great impact on sound.2. The focus of this soundbar is different from other BO speakers. I believe many of us who are interested in this speaker are BO fans, but the main focus of this speaker is how to emulate the sound effect that you might get in a movie theater. Do you remember the sound effects from Transformer? This speaker lets you relive that experience with immersive sound. However, if you're going to be using this speaker exclusively for music, I'd recommend getting a Balance or even a HomePod stereo.
