XL same size as Horse but larger around the nose. The XL horse has a larger head, greater distance between the eyes, a longer nose and a broader poll. This XL is exactly the same size and shape as the horse size I have except the XL has a longer extension around the nose where the velcro attaches. . That's all. It didn't suit him any better. It was still too narrow on the back of the head, on the forehead, on the eyes and sat very high on the bridge of the nose. Advantages of this brand: aggressive velcro, durable screen material, easy to apply. and peels off, washes well, keeps its shape before the eyes. The landing is just awful. We'll try another brand.
