This product has a terrible design, no effort to make it comfortable or suitable for human use. I don't understand why so many 5 stars. It's terrible to sleep on. It's literally just a thick sheet of vinyl with elasticated edges. There is nothing to sleep well on. It's like sleeping on a pool liner. It's slippery so a regular sheet can't stay underneath. If the leaves are not refilled, it feels cold-plastic and uncomfortable. When you go to bed at night you can even feel the cold vinyl through the sheets and I use soft microfiber sheets! down and protect the mattress underneath. But the sacrifices for this possibility are too great with this product. I was hoping it would be more like the Sealy polyester I have on my son's twin bed, which I couldn't find in queen size for bed sheets. This one is completely waterproof, has a textured top so the sheets don't slip off (and it's like a regular sheet if the sheets ever slip off), and it's washable - if it pees I don't have to wash it all. Thing every time - I just spray the area with lysol spray and wipe with a cloth and put on a new sheet (unlike plush waterproof mattress covers which are nice but you have to wash them every time). Leaves no smell of urine and protects the mattress well. Been using it for over a year, great product. This vinyl wrap was more expensive and couldn't even compare to Sealy! I'm sorry I wasted my money.
