Review on Hi-Res Philips Fidelio L2BO Over-ear Premium Portable Headphones with In-line Mic, Noise Isolation - Black/Orange by Samantha Maldonado

After researching similar headphones and considering my past satisfaction with various Philips products I bought this pair. I am very satisfied with the sound, especially when listening to music videos. Could fit my head better but wasn't the deciding factor for me. Now, almost exactly 6 months after purchase, the connector where the cable connects to the headphones is broken and the cable is loose. These things had only discreet use on my desk. Looking at it now, that broken little plastic plug looks like it wasn't made to last. The headphones still sound good, but I fear that sooner or later the wire will completely detach and they will end up in landfill. Update - after a week or two the sound on the right side went away for a while and now the headphones have completely collapsed. upset. Another star deducted, 2 stars left for the sound quality and that's it. Replaced with a pair of Sony MDR7506 headphones.
