The portable French Press style product idea is right. The quality of materials and assembly is also good. If you enjoy using a French Press coffee maker and have a way to clean it without pouring the coffee grounds down the drain or hosing it down in your yard, then this is a great, unique, and portable solution that probably deserves a 4-5 star rating Is evaluated. But for me, I have to place paper towels on the drain to strain out the goo and run a few rinses to get the goo off. Thus, it compensates for the user-friendliness of the product when preparing coffee. But it seems like this is a problem for any French press style coffee maker. I also have an Aerobie Aeropress which uses the idea of a French Press but the base compacts and is easy to toss in the bin just by flushing the plunger. It also doesn't lead to fine, partial deposits in my coffee. Also, I would have preferred the product to be a bit larger in girth and not as high, but I think it's made to fit in car cup holders. Also, the valve on the cap touches my nose when I drink, which means I have to wipe it off my nose. This may not be a problem for French Press users, but I'll stick with my Aeropress and pour it into a travel mug.
