My kids love to paint while they swim and we have tried several bath chalk sets over the past year. Most of them break easily, leaving small pieces of crayon in the tub. They looked a little thicker in the photos and the addition of a mesh pocket for storage is great! Unfortunately, some paints melt almost immediately when exposed to water. This means that after bathing, when the crayons are put back into the mesh bag and hanging on the suction hook, a strange black liquid will drip out of the bag. With water of one color (e.g. red) we noticed that the bath water quickly turned pink as the dye ran out. It got to the point where the crayons fell off and after we were done they stuck to the skin and rinsing with water didn't help. A quick rub with a rag removed the color easily, so it wasn't a big deal, but we've never seen that with other bath chalks. We will continue to use these because kids love them so much, but keep in mind that many colors tend to fall off.
