Got this for my 13 year old boxer who ALWAYS gets cold! He's basically built like a giant Chihuahua, skinny, frail and LOVES being under blankets or somewhere warm and cozy! I usually buy Reddy brand dog clothes from Petco because I would literally wear these clothes myself, they are so soft! HOWEVER, Reddy is outrageously expensive for a damn dog sweater! I say like 30 dollars! So I thought why the heck is it only $17?! If it sucks, I lose less than 20th place, you know? Boy was I surprised! This sweatshirt is so thick and warm for my frail old man! Although I'm not sure why they claim the hood is windproof when there aren't even ear holes? Very idiosyncratic? I mean, let's face it, who wears hoodies on top of a dog sweatshirt for anything but looks! Quality wise it's top notch, don't overdo it, it totally looks like a cheap hoodie or the fruits of a loom. You know the ones that are very thick and stiff and don't stretch? yes this one I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable in a human version, but for my dog it's perfect! It doesn't stretch, holds its shape well, and doesn't sag after a day or two. Oddly enough, I actually prefer this type of material (for rough puppies) over the material famous brands are made of for this reason! I mean are you kidding me!? $17 to get my dog toasty and look like he's super sporty Burberry style? Yessss I'll take it all day sister! I will definitely order more! If you're tossing it, DO IT! Just make sure your size fits BC like I said there aren't really any concessions or big stretches.
