We got them for Disney in July. Did they force me to breathe so much air that I got cold? no However, I have to say that I wore it all the time. it was a little breeze and it hit the spot. It was very light and I only had to change the AA batteries once in the 4 days I stayed there. I'm not sure if they were really dead, but I felt the air slow down and change them. I sweat a lot and this light breeze gives me pleasure. If there's natural wind, you probably won't feel it, but in Florida, and especially at Disney, it felt good. Not bad for the price and I liked the AA batteries over the internal lithium batteries. I could just pick it up and replace when needed instead of waiting for it to charge.
