In the course of the move, we are reorganizing and rethinking the pantry. I've tried different types of these containers to group similar items and make it easier to keep my pantry organized. I've found that baskets tend to reduce the entropy that occurs after a digging session. They also make it easier to browse and find exactly the type of tea or crackers you're looking for, as you can simply pull out the right basket instead of turning your pantry upside down. All in all these are good baskets. I like that they fold neatly and compactly into one another when empty. Another thing I really like about this set is that there are a lot of different sizes that make it easier to fit in different types of pantries. The sides are fairly low, making it easy to get things in and out. I find plastic a bit pliable, but you don't need a super-rigid material for that - it's strong enough for cans or other heavy objects. Overall I am very happy with this set.
