Review on K75575WW: Kensington Ergonomic Vertical Wireless Mouse with Improved SEO by Patrick Mccall

Mostly good, but there is a downside

This is my second vertical mouse. I have arthritis and regular mice were causing too much pain. I worked in IT for a long time and when I worked on someone else's devices I didn't like their ergonomic keyboard or mouse, they just felt wrong to me and uncomfortable to use. I guess it was a learning curve for them because I had the cheapest wired vertical mouse I could find to see if it would help my arm/wrist/elbow/shoulder pain - using it really helped with that pain and it was almost immediately possible to use and it was comfortable. This inexpensive model only lasted about 6 months before it began to stutter when moved. So it's time to buy a better quality mouse. I love this Kensington mouse. I've been using Kensington mice for a long time so I know they're good quality. I have to change my mouse about every month (I use rechargeable batteries), but I sit at my computer for hours every day. It's not stuttering and it's easy to make it the way I want it. However, there is one thing that annoys me - I've had a mouse for 2 months now and the scroll wheel has started to get annoying intermittently. squeak. I still haven't figured out how to solve this problem either. If it wasn't for this issue I would give this mouse 5 stars. I could see the wheel squeaking after prolonged use, but it's only been 2 months so I was a little annoyed.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not everything fits
